THE NEED OF EVERY HOME

Till date I have been addressing my elders, friends, intelligent teenagers and wise ladies, who have always appreciated and encouraged me. This is the first time I am addressing my young ones. It was a difficult task for me but my friends insisted and made me agreed to write about basic religious teachings of our masomeen sws for the guidance of our young generation. I worked hard to make sure our new generation would correctly understand the essence of true Islamic values without getting confused. But I had trusted the Al Mighty swt, who in turn made my task easier.

My fundamental task was to make the young ones understand and ponder over the true Islamic beliefs, so that when they grow up they get so strong in their beliefs that no ill believer can shake their righteous beliefs and values, and I firmly believe   Lord will make me succeed in my goal.

It’s the prime responsibility of the parents to educate their children about Islam but in the fast paced life of today males are busy with their work and females with their household chores, and therefore they forget to fulfil their primary duty. They leave the entire responsibility of their children’s upbringing and polishing to the teachers of their schools and believe them to educate their children, and as far as Islamic education is concerned Molvi’s are held responsible and they think this is enough to make their children complete Muslims and better human beings.

On Islamic issues, the ‘Molvi’ will teach whatever he pleases with and appeals to the young minds and the parents never bother. But when the child grows and his teachings reflect in his personality, the parents begin to worry, but nothing could be done now as it’s already too late and because of such happenings the rising generations are destined for poor religious understanding. In the homes of Momineens, their children are not only seen to disobey the Ahlulbayt (a.s) but in certain cases they are seen to be against their (as) teachings. Parents are somehow responsible for this because Allah swt will question them about their children on the day of judgement and the parents of today should never forget this.

Due to such practical limitations and insistence of the parents, I am forced to write and teach the young generation about the true and righteous Islamic values so that they can become the better human beings of tomorrow and would stay steadfast on the path of ‘Sirat-e-Mustaqeem’ and would not regret on their beliefs and deeds on the day of judgement. And I want them to believe that the motive of their lives is to follow the footsteps of Masoomeen (a.s) and not the wrong doers and if they look for any solution or answers to their queries regarding Islam, they should look for Masoomeen’s (a.s) teachings and try to find answers from them (as) and not any false teachings as interpreted by ‘Molvis’.
